Nobody is happy without Jesus Christ.

Nobody is happy without Jesus Christ.

26. January 1955. B.D. NR. 6176.

Nobody will ever reach happiness, who goes past Jesus Christ, who does not acknowledge him on earth and also does not take up his help in the hereafter. He stands at the gate to eternity, and he wants to be recognized by every man as his redeemer, so that he can accompany him into the kingdom of peace and happiness, into which no soul finds entry without him. And that soul must remain outside for ever, which does not profess its faith in him, which rejects Jesus Christ, just as it has done it on earth - which only saw in Jesus Christ a man and also in the spiritual kingdom wants to see in him not more than a man like himself. He descended to earth because of men, to open for them the light kingdom, into which his followers can now enter, because he himself if with them and escorts them into it. But opponents of his are never allowed into his kingdom and everybody is his opponent, who does not acknowledge him as that, who he is: God himself, who embodied himself in the man Jesus, to accomplish the work of redemption for men. Nobody can acquire something, what he himself has not gained for himself. Man is an inhabitant of the dark world and so long closely bound up with it, as he does not go the way to the one, who himself is light and gives light to all, who turn to him. Therefore he must before believe in it, that he can leave the kingdom of darkness with his help, and he must ask him for help. He himself must entrust himself to him, to the divine redeemer Jesus Christ, who has only died on the cross for that reason, that he could make free for all the way to the light kingdom - whose death on the cross was the opening of the gate to the light kingdom. But no soul will succeed to find entry into this kingdom, which itself has not before handed over itself to the divine redeemer. For it had once voluntarily left it; it itself had closed the access through its defection from God. It must now voluntarily return to God, who himself came to meet it in Jesus who took its great guilt upon himself and did atonement for it. But this sacrifice must be accepted, otherwise it has been brought in vain for him, who rejects the divine redeemer himself, who puts himself outside of those redeemed through his blood. Without him there is no redemption from darkness, and whether you men must languish eternities in it, you yourselves can free yourselves out of it, by you remembering him, who has died for you, and call upon him that he may help you. And he will accept you; he will introduce you into his kingdom, as soon as you have voluntarily surrendered to him, as soon as you believe in him, who has redeemed you from eternal death.
Amen. B.D. NR. 6176.
