But there is a separation from God throughout infinitely long periods.

There is no eternal damnation.

There is no eternal damnation.

5. January 1955. B.D. NR. 6155.

There is no eternal separation from God; there is no eternal damnation, no eternal death. For the infinite love of God eliminates such, which looks after each one being, which takes pity on each one being, and no matter how deep it has sunk, and which will also never leave that for ever to his opponent, what has emerged from eternal love. But there is a separation from God throughout infinitely long periods, but which is never God's will, but the will of the being itself - therefore one can also speak of no damnation through God. When the being is so infinitely far away from God, then it is its own fault, its most own will, and it can decrease this separation at any time; it can return to God at any time, because God grants it every help, as soon as the being itself is of the will to return to God. Therefore, the being itself creates the unhappy state, and the unhappy state exists in that respect, that the being lacks light and power, the further it goes away from God, because it rejects the love of God, which means light and power for the being. But God's love makes persistently an effort to call the being again back to life, which is dead through powerlessness - the love of God is always prepared to radiate power and light onto the being, but always taking his eternal order, the law, into account, which is based on his perfection. And for that reason the distance from God can be endlessly long for a being - the idea "eternity" it therefore not completely unjustified, only a state, which never ends, is not to be understood by that. But for the being, which has separated itself from God, the possibility always exists, to make an end to its unhappy state, for it is never left to its own devices, but is always pursued by God with his love. Rescue possibilities are always offered to it, and it is always left to its free will, to utilize them. For God's love is unlimited; it is not unforgiving; it is always prepared to help, to rescue, to make happy and to bless, for they are always his creatures, which his love power once called into life - and which he will never ever give up, and no matter whether eternal times pass. But it is impossible to give a life full of light and power back to a being, which itself closes its mind to the original source of light and power. Fee will is the mark of all divine, and to eliminate free will means the de-divining of the being - to leave it imperfect for ever and for that reason also unhappy for ever - but an unhappiness, which would be God's will. But God wants to obtain eternal happiness for his creatures, and for that reason he leaves free will to them, according to which the being now can determine itself, whether and how long it keeps itself away from God or longs for God's love and presence. But no being will be turned out of the face of God for ever, for his love is so strong, that it returns everything again to himself, what once took its start from him.
Amen. B.D. NR. 6155.
