The police allowed the clergy to withhold information from officers. Read more:

Australia seems to be a relatively free country but the influence the Catholic Church has there seems to be enormous, the influence upon the government to cover up the crimes the Catholic Church commits, und this is an indication what is going on worldwide. When in a free country like Australia the Catholic Church can get away with crime, how much more can the Catholic Church commit crimes in the rest of the world and get away with it.

All over the world a Catholic priest, may it be a simple priest, or a bishop, or a cardinal or a pope, can commit crimes, once or continuously, and get away with it, and he can be pretty sure that there will be no repercussions which might affect him negatively, that the chance that he is getting caught is minimal. And there is even a less chance that he gets prosecuted. And that he might even end up in prison it something that a Catholic priest can expect to happen only in the rarest cases. And this situation causes Catholic priests to just continue raping children all over the world and when they read about child abuse committed by Catholic priests, then they can relax in the knowledge that the chances of them having to go to jail are minimal.

And that is why the Catholic Church continuous to be the Oldest, biggest and worst terror organization.

I now bring extracts from reports coming from Australia:

Police may have 'encouraged' cover-up of child abuse by Catholic Church, commission hears

NSW Police officers may have “condoned” and even “encouraged” the cover-up of child sexual abuse by the Catholic Church, the Police Integrity Commission has heard.

And some officers may have helped set up the processes which allowed this cover-up to take place.

The allegations emerged on the first day of a Police Integrity Commission hearing into the involvement of police officers in the Professional Standards Resource Group (PSRG) – a body set up by the Catholic Church as part of Towards Healing, its response to child sex abuse within the church.

In her opening address, counsel assisting the commission, Kristina Stern, SC, said the PSRG was responsible for dealing with complaints of child abuse within the church, and involved the participation of police at regular meetings.

NSW Police Integrity Commission looks at intelligence-sharing arrangement with Catholic Church

The police corruption watchdog in New South Wales has been told an intelligence-sharing arrangement with the Catholic Church potentially allowed the clergy to withhold information from officers.
