The spirit of no man can seize me, as long as it has not united with me, with my father spirit from eternity, and the uniting with me is an act, which presupposes highest preparedness to enter into my will, therefore means a becoming like my original nature. Only what has become one with me, can recognize me, otherwise it is just a belief, but no full recognition. The spirit of man certainly has the ability to cognition, but never alone, but only in the joining together with me. It is a spark of my eternal father spirit; it is my share, which went out from me, which is in contact with me incessantly, but is only through the will of man brought into the state, where it can function. And this will must subordinate itself to me; then the spirit spark in man can become active. But a long time can often pass, before man awakens the spirit in him through his will, and this time is lost for eternity. In the state of ignorance the earth course of man is fruitless for the soul, because it then only lives for the world; it still does not grasp the meaning and purpose of its earth walk; it still has not got into touch with the spirit in it and is completely blind. Only the awakening of the spirit spark in man secures the soul the ascent development, the maturation. For the spirit, so it is awake, influences the soul, to turn away from the world and to listen to its voice, and now it starts to dawn; darkness is broken through by the light the spirit enlightens the soul about me as entity, about my work and my constant care for my creatures. The spirit in man leads him into truth; it imparts a knowledge, which cannot be brought to him from the outside, because it would then be explained to him completely incomprehensibly or he would have no capacity for it. The spirit now pushes the soul constantly to unity with me, because it is my share itself and also wants to pull the soul over to it; therefore its aim is to be likewise the uniting with me. Only in a certain degree of maturity man starts to have understanding for my nature, although it cannot be fathomed by him in its whole depth for ever. As man he does not grasp it, and also as light being it still stands in far distance from me, even so flowed through by my power, so that it is exceedingly happy. It is impossible to completely fathom my nature, because I over-radiate everything in light and power and am therefore something incomprehensible for every being, even so it has reached the highest degree in perfection. For if one would be able to fathom me, then I would be nothing unlimited both in perfection as also in power. But exactly not being able to be fathomed is that what makes a light being happy, that it can look up to me and always feels deeper love for me, that it constantly strives for me, desires me and constantly finds fulfilment of its longing. That I am inaccessible for the being, increases its love, because it feels my love for it as greatest gift in the awareness of my inaccessibility. (10.4.1950) But on the other hand my creature is inseparably connected to me. Its imperfection, for which it has to blame itself, its state completely contradicting my original nature, does not restrict my love towards it and can eternally not cause me to push it away from me, therefore to separate from it. So inaccessible I also am for the being, so it still has connexion with me; it belongs to me, because it was produced out of my power and is therefore very really a part of me. And this belonging together is to now find its culmination in the conscious joining together on the part of that being; through its striving for me it is to put itself in a position of happiness, because, to be able to feel my love and to feel it as happiness, the will of the being must absolutely be turned to me. No resistance at all is allowed to be any more in the being. It must want to come to me, to be raised by me, and this raising, the drawing it to me, is a state never ending in eternity. The being never reaches the last aim, but it constantly comes closer to me, a certainty, which is still incomprehensible for you men on earth. But the happiness of the being lies in the constant longing and fulfilment. A being, which would be completely satisfied, would be able to feel no desire any longer and for that reason also miss the happiness of the fulfilment. But I want that my children constantly strive for me; I constantly want to give, therefore also be constantly desired. And so I will, as last aim, stimulate the beings to highest love and longing, but always standing above my creatures, not because of lacking, but of exceedingly great love, because I want to give happiness, which never stops, because my love can never stop until all eternity.
