Scientists do not even to some extent understand according to which rules the brain works. Read more:

Today I read an article about the connections between brain and computer and bring here extracts from it:

In brain research the role of simulation is especially rich in facets because the computer as instrument of simulation has inspired brain models and vice versa the brain served as model for artificial calculators. Outstanding figures like John von Neumann and Alan Turing saw in the brain an inspiration for the development of «electronic brains». It was certainly soon clear that digital calculators digest information in a complete different way than the biological model. The exact mechanisms of the information digestion with the brain are unclear in detail – the gulf between models of nerve impulses and the course of thoughts, which they represent, is still great. It is therefore controversial how far information analogy in brain research carries, as the philosopher Brigitte Falkenburg explains in her newest published book.

The enorm efficiency of the brain – a human brain needs merely power of 30 Watt – is nowever incentive for the development of new technologies.

Only simple mathematical models can be understood analytically. The more accurately one wants to reproduce the rain the greater the complexity becomes. There are for example about 200 different types of ion channels on the level of neurons, which determine the electric properties of neurons.

The important sentence in this quote is: “The exact mechanisms of the information digestion with the brain are unclear in detail – the gulf between models of nerve impulses and the course of thoughts, which they represent, is still great.”

When one deals with nerve impulses and the course of thoughts, and then only talks of the brain, then that is already a sign of ignorance. The nerve impulse is an activity of the brain, but the course of thoughts is an activity of the mind, of the intellect, and when one wants to leave the mind out of consideration then one has forgotten the most important thing.

When the mind is separated from the brain, as with an out-of-body experience, then thinking has very little to do with the brain; the brain is far away. The mind can do completely without the brain. The brain can, when it is to exist further as living organ in a living body, accomplish nothing at all without the mind. It is then dead. The criterion that determines whether the body is still alive is in fact the presence of the mind, the soul.

With an out-of-body experience the mind is far away from the brain but then, in contrast to death, the connection with the silver cord is active and causes the body to stay alive.

To simulate a computer according to the brain will only then work when one does not exclude the mind and the mind is something spiritual and the entire thing will only then work when one starts to acknowledge the spiritual side of life. When a scientist wants to carry one remaining a materialist, therefore an atheist, then he is merely someone who blows public money.

And then I also read today another article, which also dealt with the brain and I now also bring extracts from it:

Criticism of brain research

«The body spirit problem is insufficiently taken into consideration»

Interview: Nicola von Lutterotti, Lena Stallmach

Ten years after the publication of a «Manifesto» of brain researchers a group of scientists closely examines the prophecies at that time. The initiator of the group, Felix Tretter, explains in the interview why the brain researchers do not make progress alone.

«The body spirit problem is insufficiently taken into consideration,» says Felix Tretter, medical head of the addiction department at Isar-Amper-Klinikum Munich East.

The Human Brain Project tries above all to bring together available data from the most different research areas. It is to model ideal typical neurons of ideal typical brain areas and ideal typical connections between these regions and to bring into a comprehensive computer model. The aim there is to simulate the neural processes and imitate disturbances through changes of the model parameters. Also here a guiding concept is missing, though, therefore a theory how the brain works. Instead the findings are to be won through trying out so to speak. Nevertheless this project is an important step in the right direction of theory forming. The «body spirit problem» is however insufficiently taken into consideration there. [The question is meant there how the brain – therefore the nerve cells with all their connections and functions – produces consciousness; note of the editors].

When the note of the editors, therefore the note of Nicola von Lutterotti and of Lena Stallmach is correct, then all three, Mr Tretter and the two interviewers, agree that the «body spirit problem» consists of the question how the body, therefore matter, produces consciousness.

Therefore also here the three have the problem, which we had just above, they want to be busy with research but want to exclude the most important thing there, the spirit, or define it as something that comes from matter and is produced by matter: consciousness.

These three form a nice example how science and reporting about science stew in their own juice, move in the ghetto, and support each other in their ignorance, and take in the public with it. Both, scientists and reporters, are materialists and therefore do not understand the most simple things of life. The spiritual principle they are subject to can be found in the attitude of their hearts. In their heart they, the fools, say There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Very nicely summarized we have what our science and the reporting about it is: it is corrupt. And the scientists and the reporters do abominable works and there is none that does good.

Now follows something from the article that does not belong to the actual interview:

The manifesto from brain research

lsl./NvL. · In the year 2004 eleven mostly German scientists have published a «Manifesto» in the magazine «Gehirn und Geist» (Brain and Spirit). They gave a short survey where brain research stood at that time and made predictions, which findings it would bring in the next ten or twenty to thirty years. Some statements are very reserved. So it says for example that one does not even to some extent understand according to which rules the brain works when direct perception and early experience blend into each other, or how the inner action is experienced as its activity. And it would not be clear at all how one could research this by today’s means.

It was however found out, the researchers write further, that neuro processes and consciously experienced spiritual psychic states would be closely related to each other. The exact details would still not be known, however, one could assume that the mental processes are describable through physical chemical processes in principle. Then they prophesied in the next twenty to thirty years one would have gotten so far that one will, without contradiction, regard spirit, consciousness, feelings, will power and freedom of actions as natural processes because they are based on biological processes. Many scientists, especially philosophers, did not like this and similar statements, which showed a pure biological view, who concern themselves with questions about spirit and consciousness for centuries.

“They do not even to some extent understand according to which rules the brain works.”

They do not understand it because they are fools.

“One will, without contradiction, regard spirit, consciousness, feelings, will power and freedom of actions as natural processes because they are based on biological processes.”

They are fools; they want to predict the future, act as prophets, and think life is based on biological processes.

The two interviewers then asked the interviewed: “The authors of the manifesto write: Spirit did not fall from heaven but developed in the course of evolution. Can evolution biology make contribution to the clarification of the question: What is spirit?”

And now the answer of Mr Tretter:

No, I do not think so. Because before one speaks of the spirit one must first define the spiritual and answer the question: What is consciousness? The British psychologist Susan Blackmore has asked a dozen brain researchers about it and received a dozen different definitions. The American brain researcher Christof Koch was even not averse to attribute a pre-form of consciousness to bees. When such a broad dissents exist then one does not know what is actually meant with consciousness: Wakefulness, knowledge, self-consciousness or something else? To speculate about something, which one can neither define nor communicate is not very effective.

Scientists do not know what is actually meant with consciousness. That is the position of science. They do not know.

And then it is in the interview about integrating other disciplines more into neuroscience to fill the existing gaps. Philosophy is of course first quoted there and after that other fields as physics, chemistry, biosciences, psychology, system-science, social and cultural sciences, interdenominational theology.

The circle of the ghetto is not to be allowed to be broken. Only materialists, to which also religionists belong who also only believe in material things, are to be approached. On no account God or people who know God and know what it is all about in life.

They call themselves scientists, knowers, and reporters about scientific things, but do not even have the knowledge about the existence of spiritual writings as for example the works of Bertha Dudde, not to mention about their content.
