Today I read an interview with Edward Snowden.

In the interview a journalist asked Snowden about the people Snowden contacted and why he sought out certain people to share information with them.

Just on sentence stuck out.

This sentence comes from Snowden:

“I was surprised to realize that there were people in news organizations who didn’t recognize any unencrypted message sent over the Internet is being delivered to every intelligence service in the world.”

So everything what goes over the internet is being delivered to every intelligence service in the world.

And that includes all encrypted messages. They are also stolen. And it is just a question of time when they will be decoded.
