In this news, which I read today, it says that millions of children are at risk until today to be abused by Catholic priests. And that is the actual scandal that the terror of the Catholic Church carries on as good as undiminished worldwide.

And what is actually just as bad or even worse, because it quite clearly shows the decline of mankind, is the fact that as good as nothing is done about it. Anyway nothing from the side of the Catholic Church, but also not by those who carry responsibility for the order founded on the rule of law. The only thing that counts is public opinion. That children do not count became quite clear when the mutilation of boys was approved of. With girls it is something terrible, but with boys it is something good, because the supporters of such violence are after all influential election groups.

Here extracts from today:

Sexual abuse

Victims demand help from Frances

Hardly in office demands also reach Pope Francis from victims of sexual abuse in the Catholic Church. People affected from the USA and Germany refer to abuse cases in the Jesuit order to which Francis belongs.

Victims of sexual abuse within the Catholic Church have called upon reforms from the new Pope Francis. "The holy Francis was the greatest reformer of the church in history, Pope Francis must do the same", demands the US organization Survivors Network of Abuse through Priests (SNAP) in a published statement on Wednesday (local time). The Argentine Jorge Mario Bergolio, who was elected pope in the conclave on Wednesday, has chosen his name in honour of the Holy Francis of Assisi, who lead a life in modesty.

SNAP declared millions of children are at risk until today to be abused by Catholic priests because the church has still not ended its politics of suppression. The organization pointed to numerous abuse cases in the Jesuit order from which the new pope comes. Francis has both the great opportunity and also the duty to help with preventing sexual abuse of children through Catholic clerics.

In the Latin American homeland of the new pope little is known about the abuse scandal criticized SNAP. "We are worried about the security of the children in the church there. " The organization expressed the hope that Francis reveals the names of guilty priests in his archdiocese Buenos Aires.

In Germany the "Square Table" stands up for the victims of sexual violence at Jesuit schools. Jorge Mario Bergolio, who was elected pope on Wednesday, was provincial of the Jesuit order in Argentine in the 70s. The "Square Table" hopes for an unreserved clearing up of the cases of sexual abuse through members of the clergy from Pope Francis. "Only so can abuse through Catholic priests be prevented effectively in future", said the manager ot the group, Heiko Schnitzler, in a conversation with the Evangelic Press Service (epd). „We expect new horror reports out of the past for example from countries like Poland or the rest, often poorer Catholic world.“

That even the investigation phase to the abuse cases is still by far not completed shows the case of his own former school, the Bonn Jesuit Aloisius College, said Schnitzler. "Accused here must still to be called to account. Many question are still open. " Public prosecution authorities are also still busy with the subject.

The Aloisius College wants to soon publish a second clearing up report about the abuse cases at the education establishment Ako-pro-Seminar joint to it. Also the opening of the church archives in Rome should stand at the very top of the agenda of the new pope, demands Schnitzler.
