Energy according to the model of the Sun, the energy production through nuclear fusion. Read more:

Several times already it was pointed out on this website that the theory how the sun produces its energy, namely through the energy producing fusion reaction, is just a theory, and also that this is concealed most of the time and is presented as known fact.

Today now I read again something like this:

Energy according to the model of the Sun, the energy production through nuclear fusion. That works perfectly in the Sun, but to imitate the condition prevailing there is a hard piece of work for the physicists and engineers.

It is just this way, science knows it. And because science knows it, a further billion grave like Cern is created.

And it is also about thousands of international physicists, engineers and technicians, who earn their living with it.

Here extracts from an article I read today:

International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (Iter) – carrier of hope for a carefree energy future

Energy according to the model of the Sun: In Cadarache, in South France, the largest fusion research reactor of the world is being built. Is the production of energy through nuclear fusion a hope for the future?

Carrier of hope though also for thousands of international physicists, engineers and technicians, who earn their living with it, to plan and build this ambitious project, likewise for the 5000 construction workers, who are expected in two years in Cadarache. However opponents regard the plant as a billion grave and doubt whether it will ever be realized.

Alone with these numbers one can recognize how gigantic this project will be, where 34 countries participate and which will cost more than 13 billion Euro.

Everything moves at the edge of today’s possibilities because in the almost 70 years of fusion research one has put off more and more the boundaries of what can be done.

Already since World War II scientists tried to use nuclear fusion peacefully. That works perfectly in the Sun, but to imitate the condition prevailing there is a hard piece of work for the physicists and engineers. In principle it is about melting two hydrogen atomic nuclei together with each other to a helium atomic nucleus. In the process one neutron is left over, which runs away with high speed and produces heat with braking.

The difficulty is to force the hydrogen atoms to fuse. This only succeeds with extreme high temperatures. So researchers try to keep hydrogen gas together, which they have dismantled into its electric loaded components, therefore ionized – a plasma comes into being –with the help of magnetic fields and to heat up with current and micro waves until the hydrogen nuclei have the necessary speed to melt together.

In such a plasma tube, which hovers untouched in the heart of the power station, in the so-called fuel chamber, the atom nuclei melt together and release neutrons. These, electrical neutral, fly through the magnetic fields outward and heat up the walls of the reactor, which are cooled all the time. The heat so won finally drives turbines and generators through a steam generator; in the end electrical power comes into being, as also in conventional power stations.
