End of September researchers reported they had found indications of over-light-fast neutrinos with the Opera experiment. Particles which move faster than light are not allowed to exist. They contradict the special theory of relativity of Einstein and call a cornerstone of modern physics into question. Up to now no really convincing argument against the experiment has been brought forward. Read more:

Today I read an article of which I bring excerpts below.

The interesting thing about it is how one reacts to new discoveries. But it is also interesting how far the publicised opinion conforms to the views of scientists. Since decades it is known that particles react to each other immediately, even when they are very far away from each other, therefore need the time zero for long distances. But this knowledge is ignored. As with every religion so also with this religion of the materialists: truth is simply left out.

Now the excerpts:

Over-light-fast neutrinos in headwind

The Opera experiment has to assert itself against objections from different sides.

End of September researches reported they had found indications of over-light-fast neutrinos with the Opera experiment. Although there was no success to uncover mistakes in the measurements many experts remain sceptical.

The overture was stormy and it started with a closed curtain. Even before the researchers of the Opera experiment brought it to public attention reports fell over themselves in relevant blogs, particle physicists had found indications of over-light-fast neutrinos. That the first publication of the researchers put into the net a few days later was formulated extremely unemotionally and abstained from any speculation, hardly contributed to the calming down of the feelings. Because it was also clear to the layman: Particles which move faster than light are not allowed to exist. They contradict the special theory of relativity of Einstein and call a cornerstone of modern physics into question.

Since the overture nearly seven weeks have past. On the Arxiv, an online platform favoured by physicists for scientific advance copies, far more then hundred works have been published in the meantime, which refer to the Opera experiment in one form or another. The quality of the contributions which are not examined varies considerably; the palette of subjects is broad. Speculative suggestions, how the experiment could be interpreted, can be found here just as meticulous descriptions of mistakes which the Opera work group had allegedly made with the evaluation of the data. Antonio Ereditato from the University Bern, the spokesman of the working group of 170, does not yet see cause to withdraw from the publicised results. Up to now no really convincing argument against the experiment has been brought forward.
