Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is the antichrist.

This is how you can know God’s spirit: One spirit says, “I believe that Jesus is the Christ who came to earth and became a man.” That spirit is from God. Another spirit refuses to say this about Jesus. That spirit is not from God but is the spirit of the Enemy of Christ. You have heard that the Enemy of Christ is coming. And now he is already in the world. Read more:
Today I dealt with the spiritual central issue of Antichrist. This question is insofar important as it can show the actual difference between that what the Bible teaches und that what the Antichristian system tries to make of it.
First of all I bring the relevant scripture, 1 John 4:1-3:
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”
The Antichristian system will always try to show Jesus Christ as not really being God, therefore perhaps possibly accepting him as a man who was remarkable and historic, but exactly not acknowledging him as God.
Only to recognize and to acknowledge this difference will enable one to determine the powers which are for God and those which are against God.
The just quoted scripture, quoted from the King James Version, probably contributes to not recognizing this difference clearly and therefore I will now give a different translation, from The Everyday Bible, New Century Version:
“My dear friends, many false prophets are in the world now. So do not believe every spirit. But test the spirits to see if they are from God. And now he is already in the world.”
Here in this translation out of the seemingly one word, or out of the one Name, namely Jesus Christ, two words, or two names, are made, namely first Jesus and then Christ, and this lets one recognize the facts more clearly.
It is about that the man Jesus embodied the Christ.
I still bring a further translation which also emphasizes this difference, from The Translator’s New Testament:
“Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. You can recognize the Spirit of God by this: every spirit which acknowledges that Jesus is the Christ who came as a human being is from God, and every spirit which does not acknowledge Jesus in this way is not from God. This is the work of the Antichrist; you have heard that he is coming; even now he is already in the world.”
A scripture that confirms this, and which is actually from the King James Version, is 1 John 2:22:
“Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is the antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.”
So in this scripture we also have this separation of the two words or of the two names: Jesus and Christ.
So it is all about the man Jesus receiving the spirit coming from God and through this becoming God.
