On the 28th of January 2010 I had brought the entry: "God will feed us supernaturally." And on 22nd of February 2010: "God fed the man supernaturally."
Today, on the 10th of May 2010, I read about another such case and bring here something about it:
The super yogi. Doctors are baffled. For two weeks the Yogi Prahlad Jani was observed by doctors around the clock. But how he could survive the whole time without water and food the medics still do not know. Swindler or miracle? The man who fasted for 70 years.
The "miracle yogi" Prahlad Jani has put his Indian doctors into helplessness. "We still do not know how he survives," said the neurologist Sudhir Shah after the end of the two-week observation around the clock of the 83 year old who neither emits urine nor has bowel movement
In the clinic in Ahmedabad in the Western Indian federal state of Gujarat about 30 doctors had looked after the Hindu in the past two weeks who according to own information has neither eaten nor drank for more than 70 years. "It remains a mystery what kind of phenomenon he is," says Shah
During his stay in hospital, which came to an end last Thursday, Jani has again eaten and drank nothing according to information. He only came into contact with liquid when gargling and bathing, the leader of the state defence institute (DIPAS), G. Ilavazahagan, informed.
The doctors hoped the stay in hospital of the long-haired and bearded yogi would give them knowledge about the survival in emergency cases. They put him through the paces, examined his brain functions and carried out a DNA analysis and hormone tests. Some results will only be available in a few weeks.
After the examination the 83 year old yogi returned again to his home village in the Gujurat disrict. According to his own information he gets his energy alone from meditation and yoga exercises. He could survive without food because a deity had blessed him at the age of eight years.
In the writings of Indian ... the Vedas, the Upanishades - these possibilities of experience are described for a long time.
Already 2003 the alleged miracle yogi, who comes from the village Charod in the Mehsana district of Gujarat, and about whom otherwise suspiciously little is known, made headlines worldwide.
