Today, on the 27th of November 2009, I thought about a message from Bertha Dudde, which contained information about the rapture and the last judgement and says something about the time, which lies between the two events. An excerpt from B.D. NR. 7440 of 13th October 1959 now follows:
But the fight will break out and not just against individual believers, but be directed against all spiritual striving. But only those who are of a living faith, who belong to my church founded by me, those will pass it victoriously because they will fight under my banner, led and protected by the army of invisible fighters who all serve me and righteousness - until the day has come where I will fetch the ones who are mine and free them out of greatest trouble and distress - until the day of judgement has come, which will follow not long after it and will put an end to all earthly and spiritual struggle. Amen. B.D. NR. 7440.
The complete message 7440 can be found in the chapter "Last Days" of "Redemption Period." Just go to that chapter and search for 7440.
It says in the above mentioned quotation: "until the day has come where I will fetch the ones who are mine and free them out of greatest trouble and distress - until the day of judgement has come, which will follow not long after it and will put an end to all earthly and spiritual struggle."
The rapture therefore takes place before the Last Judgement and both events seem to follow each other shortly one after the other. The time between the two events is here given as "not long after it." The judgement therefore seems not to follow straight after the rapture. The rapture, as a highly impressive event, shall apparently still give men - who stay behind - the opportunity to think about things and to make a change of their attitude and therefore achieve something similar as the last judgement itself, that still, in the last moment, men carry out a turning back and turn away from their wrong life and seize the true life.
God therefore again and again, and especially after the rapture and also still after the beginning of the judgement - two extremely impressive processes - seems to want to use these shaking up events to free men from slavery. A last call for help of man to his creator will still be possible - and also successful.
If we assume that the rapture happens during the day - and not at night - so that the effect is visible to all, then the rapture will not take place at the same time everywhere on earth, but only in areas where it happens to be daytime. When for example the rapture begins in Asia then Europe would be the next area and later then America.
The last judgement will be triggered off by a kind of nuclear reaction and therefore could worldwide take place - or begin - more or less at the same time. And that is the reason why, when the rapture for example begins in Asia, the judgement could not also start in Asia immediately after it. The last judgement would therefore not begin until the rapture is completed worldwide, because the rapture requires about a day's time - worldwide - while the judgement everywhere on the surface of the earth more or less starts at the same time.
This could be the reason why here in the quotation the words "not long after it" are used.
The time of the rapture could be compared with the worldwide sending of letters. The local letters arrive the same or the following day and the overseas mail takes longer. The time of the judgement however could be compared with the worldwide sending of emails. All emails need more or less the same time: they reach their destination immediately.
There could be for example men who are to be raptured, but who are still too much bound to matter and therefore soar - to be raptured - but with their feet they still stick to matter and therefore do not come free and also do not soar. The rapture then is - worldwide - more or less completed and they did not take part, matter continued to have them under its spell. Only when then judgement begins and the earth opens and fire comes out of it and devours everything, this process will get such men to give up their sticking to matter and they come free and still yet float upward - because now also their hands let go their worldly possessions, which prevented them from soaring.
The existence of fire also indicates that the judgement begins worldwide at the same time, therefore also in such areas where there is just night time because the fire lights up everything and therefore the events can be perceived and observed by all - also by the raptured.
